MRLSeeing fusion materials on the nanoscale

Researchers are using a new lab at CCFE to examine materials to see the impact of neutrons on reactor components. 

Meanwhile a Materials Research Facility is under construction at Culham for use by researchers from labs, universities and industry across the UK nuclear R&D community. It will open in 2015 as part of the National Nuclear User Facility.
