About CCFE
CCFE in the community
Culham Centre for Fusion Energy supports a range of good causes in the local community, particularly those with an emphasis on education and science. Last year CCFE donated money to more than 30 groups and organisations – from school science days to an energy meter for a community low-carbon project (pictured).
CCFE also works to maintain excellent relations with its neighbours. In addition to informal communications, the Culham Local Liaison Committee meets twice a year for an exchange of information between CCFE, representatives of neighbours inside the site boundary, representatives of statutory bodies and local councillors.
